Winter Greeley Baseball Off-Season Training 2025-26

Run by Greeley HS Baseball Coach Tim Panetta (+ other Greeley Baseball Coaches as available). We are not in-season - everything is optional but encouraged.


Details:

  • Saturdays - 11:30-1:45 - 12/13-3/7 (OFF 12/27, 1/3, 2/14)

  • Sundays - 11:30-1:45 - 12/14-3/8 (OFF 12/28, 1/4, 2/15)

  • Athletes will pick one day to attend (pick the day that works best and we can adjust if conflicts arise)

  • @ TP Strength

  • HG Baseball players grades. 9-12 (athletes will be placed in groups by age and skill level)

Format:

  • 1 hour - 4 station hitting rotation to target 4 main skills (power, contact, approach, execution)

    • Bat Speed/power (overload/underload bat speed tracking)

    • Bat-to-ball/contact (mini ball mini bat)

    • Pitch Recognition/decision making (pitch recognition software / marked balls)

    • Game-like execution (game speed/game-like velocity situations)

  • 30 min - Team Hitting Competition

    • execution of a given scenario under pressure

  • 30 min - Fielding & Throwing drills

  • 15 min - Conditioning

  • Optional - Mound and flat-ground throwing for pitchers after practice (starting mid Jan)
