WHY WE CREATED THIS PROGRAM

THE IDEA FOR THIS PROGRAM WAS BORN ONE DAY THIS OFF-SEASON WHEN WE HAD 10 OF THE BEST BASEBALL PLAYERS WE TRAIN ALL TRAINING IN THE GYM AT ONCE. THE TRAINING ENVIRONMENT WAS LIKE NOTHING WE HAVE EVER FELT BEFORE. THE ENERGY, HUSTLE, COMPETITIVENESS, CAMARADERIE, AND URGENCY WAS TRULY INSPIRING AND FUN TO BE A PART OF.

WE JOKED ABOUT HOW AMAZING THIS TEAM WOULD BE IF ALL ATHLETES WERE ON THE SAME TRAVEL TEAM, BUT WE KNEW THAT WAS NOT REALISTIC. BUT KEEPING THAT GROUP TOGETHER (AND OTHERS WE THOUGHT COULD HANG AND CONTRIBUTE TO THIS UNIQUE CULTURE) WAS, AND JUST LIKE THAT, OUR FIRST EVER ELITE SUMMER TRAINING PROGRAM WAS BORN FOR THOSE REALLY LOOKING TO TAKE THEIR GAME TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR A SELECT GROUP OF HUNGRY, LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS, READY TO COMPETE, COMMIT, AND TRAIN WITH THE BEST BASEBALL ATHLETES AROUND.

OVERVIEW

WE HAVE CAREFULLY CREATED THIS TRAINING PROGRAM TO MINIMIZE: MUSCLE SORENESS, MUSCLE LOSS, WEIGHT LOSS, AND MAXIMIZE: STRENGTH MAINTENANCE, WEIGHT MAINTENANCE, ARM STRENGTH/MAINTENANCE, RECOVERY, MOBILITY & DURABILITY.

OUR GOAL IS TO KEEP THE ATHLETES STRONG AND HEALTHY ALL SEASON LONG

WE WILL BE USING ADVANCED TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES TO QUANTIFY ALL METRICS RELEVANT TO PERFORMANCE AND INJURY PREVENTION.

EXAMPLES OF TESTS AND MEASUREMENTS WE WILL BE ROUTINELY TAKING: RANGE OF MOTION / MOBILITY / FLEXIBILITY ANALYSIS [HIP, KNEE, SHOULDER AND ANKLE], LOWER/UPPER BODY STRENGTH TRENDS, SPEED/AGILITY TIMES AND TRENDS, WEIGHT FLUCTUATIONS AND CORRESPONDING NUTRITIONAL ADVICE, RATE OF FORCE DEVELOPMENT, AND IF NECESSARY - EXIT VELO AND THROWING VELO CAN BE TRACKED.

PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION

IF YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED TO THIS PROGRAM, PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR ATTENDANCE BY COMPLETING STEP 1:

1) FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW (please be sure to include dates that your athlete has conflicts [i.e., vacation, tournaments, showcases] so we can begin to coordinate ideal make up days

** IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CONFLICTS AND MAKE UPS - PLEASE READ BELOW **

  • Every athlete in this program is required to pay for the program in full and their account will be credited for 16 training sessions which must be completed before September. Each athlete will be programmed for a full 8 weeks (16 training sessions) with individual and position specific adjustments. A major emphasis of the program is to have our elite baseball guys training together every Tuesday/Thursday for the Summer from 12-130. However, we understand that tournament schedules, showcases, vacations etc., will create some conflicts and so we did our best to allow extreme flexibility for make ups so all athletes can experience the full benefits of the entire carefully designed 8 week program (not a watered down 4 or 5 week version).

  • In the event you have a conflict with a day (or week), you can make up the session(s) you miss on MWF from 12-130 or during any scheduled HS Strength Class you see on the schedule. It is the athletes responsibility to make sure they make up that missed training day another time and communicate with the coaches when they anticipate making it up (which the form below will serve as our first means of communication for anticipated conflicts). Ideally (but not limited to) making up the session that same week so they stay in tune with the progression of the program.

  • For example, some parents were concerned having several weeks where their athlete could only make one day during the week, and one during the other etc. (so if you are leaving for a tournament on Wednesday, the athlete could train M 12-130 or during an afternoon Monday HS class, and then normally with the group on Tuesday).
